TOKYO - Finnair and fellow oneworld alliance members Japan Airlines and British Airways are now selling joint fares between Europe and Japan, for travel after April 1, 2014. Currently, Finnair flies daily from Helsinki to Tokyo and five times per week (daily in the northern summer) to Osaka and Nagoya, connecting Japan to more than 50 Finnair destinations in Europe.
SYDNEY - Singapore Airlines has released a range of fares starting at A$795 return to Bali, A$818 return to Langkawi, A$819 return to Ho Chi Minh City, A$1,122 return to New Delhi and A$1,781 return to Cape Town.
DUBAI - Emirates will serve its Moscow route with a double daily A380 flights from August 1. The second A380 will replaces the existing Boeing 777 operation, increasing seat capacity on the route by 15% (ATI).
TOKYO – Japan Airlines is expanding its international services with new international flight slots becoming available at Tokyo (Haneda) Airport. JAL will begin operating new day-time nonstop flights from March 30, 2014 between Haneda and London, Haneda and Paris, Haneda and Singapore and Haneda and Bangkok. Additionally, the airline will use late night and early morning slots to launch new services between Haneda and Ho Chi Minh City.
SINGAPORE - Clive van Deventer has been appointed as General Manager - Accor Vacation Club Asia in a move that signals plans for future growth and activity for the timeshare company in Southeast Asia - following a downturn due to the GFC.
