CHINESE COMPANIES OFFERING DISCOUNTS FOR RMB TRANSACTIONS

HONG KONG - An HSBC survey has revealed that half of all international companies in Hong Kong and 30% in mainland China are now using RMB to conduct cross-border business – with 53% of Chinese businesses surveyed prepared to offer discounts of up to 5% for transactions settled in RMB.
