Sichuan looks to innovative co-operation with Silicon Valley

BEIJING - China's State newsagency, Xinhua, reported today that a delegation from Sichuan province is visiting northern California, looking to collaborate with the region's high-tech and business communities for its own regional development.

Since 2014, Sichuan has been building the Tianfu New Area from Chengdu to Meishan, focussing on high-end technologies and manufacturing.  www.webershandwick.cn (ATI).
