InvestHK offering US$500,000 in benefits for start-up ventures

InvestHK, the investment arm of the Hong Kong Government, has launched a StartmeupHK Venture Programme for high-impact, innovative and scalable start-up founders who want to expand their business globally from Hong Kong. Benefits worth more than US$500,000 are on offer.

The programme aims to attract entrepreneurial talent from around the world to Hong Kong to take advantage of the city as a global launch pad It offers a one-stop platform for entrepreneurs to set up and expand their business in Hong Kong and to gain access to financial, intellectual and social capital.
Winner benefits include a sponsored trip to Hong Kong, a pitch to angel investors, venture capitalists, strategic partners and the start-up community, professional services from leading accounting, legal, design, branding and hosting firms, business matching and networking opportunities, mentoring and assistance in building the business, free working space, media exposure opportunities and business incorporation and trademark application services.
