Global cargo uplift increases, but Asia down 5% in first half

GENEVA –The International Air Transport Association (IATA) says global air cargo traffic volumes for July showed continuing modest improvement. Global freight tonne kilometres (FTKs) were up 1.2% in July on-year, against 0.9% in June, as growth in Europe and the Middle East offset weakness in Asia.
