City of Beijing sets GDP growth target of 6 to 6.5% in 2019

BEIJING - The Mayor of Beijing has set the city's GDP growth target at 6 to 6.5% for 2019, compared with last year's target of about 6.5%, according to a report by Xinhua, China's State newsagency.

It says 2018 saw Beijing surpass its GDP target, reaching 6.6%, and that the new target reflects slightly reduced expectations for the Tier 1 city in 2019.  www.webershandwick.cn (ATI).
