Asian Financial Forum 2018 opening Monday

HONG KONG - Business and finance professionals and senior Government officials from around the world will participate in the 11th Asian Financial Forum starting Monday January 15 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Organised by the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the forum brings some of the most influential members of the global financial community together to discuss economic developments and trends from an Asian perspective.

Exploring the theme, “Steering Growth and Pioneering Innovation: Asia and Beyond,” more than 100 international speakers, including financial policymakers, business leaders and heavyweight investors, will gather in Hong Kong to examine the latest economic trends and to offer their insights for investment planning in the coming year.

Innovation and technology will be a prioritised component at this year’s forum. The new InnoTalks series of workshops will cover topics including Fintech, innovations in banking, big data and artificial intelligence.

The AFF Deal Flow Matchmaking Session returns with a new section, the InnoVenture Salon, which connects start-ups with potential investors and partners.

Four sector-specific presentation sessions focusing on start-ups, clean and manufacturing technology, healthcare technology and Fintech, will be held on the second day of the forum.  http://www.asianfinancialforum.com   (ATI).
