Air China to fly Beijing-Brisbane direct, four services weekly

BEIJING - Air China will begin flights from Beijing to Brisbane from December 11, giving Brisbane access to 18 points in Europe, nine points in North America, and almost anywhere in China and Asia.

The new flights will operate Monday, Wednesday Friday and Sunday, departing Beijing at 2.30am to arrive in Brisbane at 3.10.pm. The return flight will depart Brisbane at 7.30.pm arriving in Beijing at 4.45.am next day.

Currently, Air China operates direct services from Sydney to Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, and from Melbourne direct to Beijing and to Shanghai. 

During high season (Northern Winter), with the new direct service from Brisbane, flight frequency will increase to 29 weekly between Australia and China.   www.airchina.com.au (ATI).
