BEIJIING - Air China will begin direct services between Melbourne and Shenzhen on January 10, 2017, offering four flights weekly with evening departures from Shenzhen on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
XIAMEN - Xiamen Airlines has launched a Xiamen - Shenzhen - Seattle service, creating an air bridge connecting two of China's major special economic zones and an economic heavyweight on the US West Coast. It is both the first long haul route originating in Xiamen with an end point in the United States and the first direct international service between Shenzhen and the US.
SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines will launch a new service to Sydney via Jakarta from November 23, increasing its frequency to and from Sydney to 34 flights weekly. The new service will operates three times weekly, departing Sydney on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11.am for arrival in Jakarta at 3.45pm and in Singapore at 6.10pm (local times). Flights will depart Singapore on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8.15.pm, arriving in Jakarta at 9.10.pm and in Sydney at 9.30.am next day (local times).

CANBERRA - Singapore Airlines today launched its new ‘Capital Express’ service from Singaore to Wellington via Canberra. Flights will operate four times weekly with a 266-seat Boeing 777-200 aircraft fitted with 38 Business Class seats and 228 Economy Class seats.
