Vietnam Airlines links Sydney to Europe via Hanoi

SYDNEY – Twenty years after entering the Australian market with flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne, Vietnam Airlines has launched a tri-weekly direct service (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday) from Sydney to Hanoi, departing Sydney 2.15.pm.

For onward travel to Europe, there are connecting flights to Frankfurt (one hour 55 minute connection, Monday/Saturday, arriving Frankfurt 6.am); to Paris (two hour 20 minute connection, Monday/Wednesday/Saturday, arriving Paris 7.am) and London (three hour 50 minute connection, Monday/Wednesday/Saturday, arriving London 7.40.am).

Introductory Economy fares return including taxes to Europe from Sydney start at AUD1,066, Premium Economy from AUD1,926 and Business Class from AUD4,203.

Economy and Premium Economy tickets are available until June 30 for travel between April 17 and December 7, 2017. Blackout periods apply. Business Class tickets are available year round.
