July 28, 2017

MELBOURNE - Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT), a subsidiary of Philippines’ headquartered port developer and manager ICTSI, has named 18 not-for-profit community organisations within the Port Phillip and/or Hobsons Bay communities as this year's recipients of grants from the VICT Community Investment Fund.

They will receive collectively more than AUD250,000 to support programmes and initiatives focussed on young people during this first year of operation for VICT’s new Webb Dock East international container terminal.

Each organisation will receive grants of up to $20,000, bringing the total amount donated to the community by VICT to more than AUD1 million dollars since 2014.

The contributions are for a range of initiatives; from music programmes at local schools and assisting educating children from low income families to developing sport and environmental programmes.    www.vict.com.au  www.ictsi.com (ATI).
