SIA unveils changes to Australian operations

SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines has announced a range of changes to its operations in Australia, effective from May l. The most significant change will be to operations in Canberra, with this service to be de-linked from Wellington and increased to daily operations, with a new Singapore-Sydney-Canberra-Singapore routing.

The new service will also act as Sydney’s fifth daily flight, offering a new late night departure from Sydney at 21:20.

Sydney will now offer 35 weekly flight options on a year-round basis, all in four cabin classes, including Premium Economy.

SIA services from Singapore to Melbourne will increase to 36 weekly with the addition of four onward flights to Wellington. www.singaporeair.com (ATI).
