May 8, 2018

PERTH - Singapore Airlines has this week launched daily flight to Perth on its new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. Perth becomes just the second destination in the world, behind Osaka Japan, to see the newest member of the Dreamliner family enter regular scheduled services.

Perth became SIA’s first destination in Australia more than 50 years ago.

The new 787-10s are configured with 337 seats across two classes, Business and Economy. They will be used by SIA on flights of up to eight hours duration, with more destinations to be added as additional aircraft are received.

Singapore Airlines is the largest customer for the 787-10, with firm orders for 49 of the aircraft. The Airline is investing US$350 million to install new medium-haul cabin products on the first 20 787-10 aircraft.  www.singaporeair.com  (ATI).
