Shenzhen offers prizes and access to venture capital in first Entrepreneurship Competition

Australian entries for Shenzhen’s first Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition are open until March 8. The global competition, in which Australian entrepreneurs will compete alongside divisions from Canada, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, the UK and the US, is being co-ordinated by the Shenzhen Economic and Trade Office (SETO).

Entrants compete for prizes to a total of AUD250,000, with venture capital up to a total of AUD140 million available to develop new innovations. A special Creativity prize of RMB30,000 (about AUD6,000) is being offered for the Australian Division.
