Microsoft to open Asia Inside Sales Centre in Sydney
SYDNEY - Microsoft has chosen Sydney as the location for its new Asia Inside Sales Centre, the fourth to be opened by Microsoft globally – and first in Asia - with the company creating 120 new digital seller roles.
Microsoft said establishment of the Centres supports the evolution of its interaction with customers and partners by transforming and digitising the sales experience. The centre will enable highly-trained sellers to use leading-edge technology platforms and analytics to better meet the needs of customers.
The Sydney Centre will serve customers across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, providing support in nine different languages.
Microsoft is also establishing three Sales Satellites in India, China, and Japan. Its other Asia Inside Sales Centres are in Dublin, Ireland, Fargo, USA, San Jose, Costa Rica. www.microsoft.com (ATI).
