Independent Australian brewer signs nationwide distribution deal in China

MELBOURNE – The recently-listed Broo Limited (ASX: BEE)  has signed with China’s Jinxing Beer Group in a deal which will see the company’s  Broo Premium Lager added to Jinxing’s  national product portfolio list. Broo will be Jinxing’s only international label on offer toits entire nationwide Chinese distribution network.

China’s beer market is the largest in the world and represents sales volumes exceeding 5 billion cases of beer per annum.
 Broo listed on the Australian Securities Exchange on October 14. Kent Grogan, its Founder and CEO, flew to Jinxing’s head office in Zhengzhou to oversee the first production run.
 Grogan describes the deal with Jinxing as a game changer which will dwarf the company’s original sales expectations.
 “It provides Broo with enormous reach and a platform to compete with the largest International brands currently available in China,” he said.
  Founded in 1982, the Jinxing Beer Group has an annual production capacity of 2 million tonnes of beer and  employs 6,000 staff.
