Australian furniture group signs MoU with Malaysian counterpart

MELBOURNE – The Australian Furniture Association (AFA) has signed an MoU with  the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC), the official representative body of Malaysian furniture industry.

AFA’s CEO, Patrizia Torelli Ms Torelli, says she sees the agreement as an immense opportunity for the industries of both countries. 

“As the principal advocate of the Australian furniture and furnishings industry, we are constantly seeking opportunities to assist our members through strategic alliances, programmes and services that will enhance their prospects for success in overseas marketplaces,” she says. 

As part of this progamme, the AFA is encouraging members to attend an Understanding Malaysian Culture for SMEs workshop on in Melbourne on Saturday May 6. The workshop is supported by MATRADE.  www.australianfurniture.org.au  (ATI).
