BEIJING - Air China will launch a new non-stop route between Beijing and Jakarta on September 26. The current service transits in Xiamen, with a total flight time of 9.5 hours. The new non-stop route, operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft, will reduce the journey time to seven hours.

Official figures from Indonesia show that over 1.4 million Chinese tourists visited Indonesia in 2016, up nearly 14% over the previous year, making China the largest source country for inbound tourism.
